Something found

I lent a book to someone recently and luckily my cousin who was to deliver it for me flipped through its pages and found an old bookmark.

Obviously I didn’t have a hope of translating and understanding it on my own but I asked around and I think I get the jist of it.

This bookmark was given to me as a gift from my grade 3 teacher before I left Hong Kong. I doubt I would have understood its meaning then as a child, I was simply too young and stupid.

    I think it says something like, ‘if you go forward with persistence there is no dead end/road’.
