I was pretty tired of my info always being out in the open in the WHOIS databases because of this registered domain, so I decided to switch to a domain register that provides anonymous WHOIS info. Of course, stupid me, while I was doing the domain transfer, I totally forgot to look for the anonymous WHOIS service checkbox, so all I have now is a domain address mid-transfer, to be fair, I really didn’t see an option during the process to select the service. Hopefully they will let me add the service on later, and I get this sorted out sooner rather than later.
speak english? haha
Yes its a little technical, but if you’ve ever registered a domain and run a site, you should know what I am talking about
Careful, note 3342 can grant permission to get yer full whois from an anony provider. If they go 3342 they’ll get even more info anyways.
nich si gent ach nacta, no? }:-)
Hey Targ, who are you anyway? Do I know you personally? And I realize its not much having the anonymous WHOIS but it’ll stop the casual snoopes and that’s all I really wanted really.
